Bringing Nepal closer

We’re back online! Buda Budi Treks now has a website, blog and Facebook page all connected. We will provide updates, tips and show examples of what it is like to visit Nepal. We hope these pages can provide inspiration but also highlight some important aspects of life in Nepal.

If you have any particular topics you want know more about, even as small as ‘what are the best socks to wear when trekking?’, send us a message.

Similarly, we can connect you with some of the best trekking and travel guides in Nepal who can lead you on a holiday you will never forget. Rarely does anyone leave Nepal unchanged – the warmth is not just in the chili sauces! The people are wonderful, and we hope to share those insights with you.

Getting started

Welcome to Buda Budi Treks. This site is designed for people interested to know more about Nepal, want to plan a trek or need to re-fuel that passion to return again.Namche

With Ramesh having been a trekking guide, and Liz has visited Nepal 13 times, together they can help to navigate around this beautiful country. Most importantly, with all costs going directly to the people in Nepal: the guides, porters, yak herders and tea house operators. None of the costs are spent on salaries for people sitting in air conditioned offices in cities thousands of miles away. Whilst we live in Australia, we can connect you with friends and colleagues directly in Nepal.
